Wakefield Council and Wakefield District Housing Apprenticeship Vacancies

Wakefield Council Housing have released their apprenticeship vacancies for the summer of 2018.  Please follow the links below to apply.
Note -  there is a short closing date of April 3rd so you will need to start the application process soon.
There are currently Paralegal Law, Operational Support, HGV Mechanic and Business Apprenticeships available.
Wakefield Council will be releasing further apprenticeships also in Sport, IT and Finance shortly so please keep checking their website.
New College students last year managed to get the majority of the vacancies. It is very important that you complete your application to a high standard and therefore you should ask your Progress Tutor or myself for some support.

National Apprenticeship Week 2018: Gatwick Airport

Gatwick Airport
Gatwick Airport is the UK’s second largest airport and the most efficient single-runway airport in the world. It serves more than 228 destinations in 74 countries for 45 million passengers a year on short and long-haul point-to-point services. It is also a major economic driver for the UK contributing £5.3 billion to national GDP and generating 85,000 jobs nationally, with around 24,000 on the wider airport campus alone. The airport is south of Central London with excellent public transport links, including the Gatwick Express, and is part of the Oyster contactless payment network. Electrician: Electricians install cables and equipment, including sockets and switches for electrical installations. They test and commission electrical installations to ensure they work and meet the health and safety requirements.
