HYMS Year 12 Residential 2019 The Hull York Medical School's Year 12  Residential is taking place from the 15-19 th  July this year and will be based at the University of Hull. The aim of the week is to give student an insight into the life of a medical student and also to help them prepare to make an application to medical school. It’s also about helping students make a decision as to whether medicine is the right course for them. Applications for the residential will open on Tuesday 23rd April. Hull York Medical School - Year 12 Medicine Work Experience Opportunity HYMS are working with the Royal College of General Practitioners to offer 3 days of work experience this summer. Work experience is a fantastic opportunity for students to find out what Medicine is really like, and to gain first hand experience of working within a clinical environment, patient-doctor interactions & the life of a doctor. IMPORTANT UCAS NOTICE - Responding to offers

For those of you who have applied to university and received all your offers before or on the 31st March - you have a deadline to firm and insure your choices by 1st May.  ​ This only leaves a couple of days to do this when you are back at college after the easter break. It is therefore important, if you haven't already done so, to give this serious thought over the Easter holidays and make sure it is completed.   To reply to your offers you will need to go onto TRACK. If you miss this deadline - your offers will be removed by the universities so it is really important! Anyone who hasn't received their offers by 31st march will have a later deadline in June to firm and insure. Also remember you will need to apply for student finance by registering on the website and setting up an account. Please see link below.
