Ethic Workshop
Date      Thursday 19th April 2018
Time      5.30pm – 7.30pm
Venue    Room X and Y, Worsley Building, University of Leeds

Ethical scenarios form a big part of the interview process and also constantly crop up through medical training and your career. This workshop will give you the opportunity to get to grips with clinical, ethical questions with guidance from medical students.

Application Criteria:
·      Year 12 (must be at least 16 years of  age)
·      Priority given to students from a widening participation criteria

Situational Judgement Workshop
Date      Thursday 17th May 2018
Time      5.30pm – 7.30pm
Venue    Room X and Y, Worsley Building, University of Leeds.

This workshop will give you an introduction to situational judgement and why it is important in medicine including its use in aptitude tests, interviews, medical school, in fifth year exams year and why it is important when making decisions as a doctor.

Application Criteria:
Year 12 (must be at least 16 years of  age)
Priority given to students from a widening participation criteria

Communications Workshop
Date      Thursday 7th June 2018
Time      5.30pm – 7.30pm
Venue    Room X and Y, Worsley Building, University of Leeds.

This workshop will be for students to learn about how they can communicate more effectively and professionally within a healthcare sector.

Application Criteria:
·      Year 12 (must be at least 16 years of  age)
·      Priority given to students from a widening participation criteria

Application opens May 14th 2018 – Application closes May 28th 2018

They offer the   'Aspiring Partners Programme' (APP)   for students in year 12 to receive support with their career path/university application and continue to support you whilst at university.
