Headstart Summer School Programme (Year 12)

Headstart Summer School Programme

Headstart is a programme for students age 16-17  who are interested in studying Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subjects at university, for example subjects such as Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry etc.

Students are offered the chance to attend a week long summer school at the end of Year 12 at their choice of top university which will give you a chance to decide which course would be for you and a chance to experience undergraduate study.

You will have to pay for the course, however if you feel that you and your family are under financial hardship, you may be able to apply for a Bursary.  There are also other programmes which offer summer schools to students with no payment attached -  more details to follow.

If you need support with your application to a Headstart programme please see your Progress Tutor or Helen Lonsdale.
