Get Ahead Skills Workshops with Newcastle University (Year 12 only)

Newcastle University are inviting students in Year 12 to visit their campus in April and pick-up study skills you need to support your current studies College.

Get Ahead is a campus event for Year 12 students that are looking to get ahead before applying to university. Developed in 2017 with local school teachers/students, the programme is designed to provide a deeper insight into subject specific study skills such as lab skills, fieldwork experience, referencing and time management.

Study skills such as these will help you with your current A-Level or equivalent studies and help you with the transition to university level study in the future. By attending this event you will also get a taste of what it’s like to study different degree subjects at university level.
