Sky have recently announced an open day at their Leeds office for any students interested in a Software Engineering apprenticeship. 

 Here is what they say:

We are running a variety of Open days that we’d love for you to attend at our Sky offices:
  • Software Engineering Open evening (Leeds)- Tuesday 12th February
  • Software Engineering & Technology Open day (Osterley, West London)- Thursday 21st February
The aim of the events are to help you gain a better understanding of Sky and the breadth of opportunities we have on offer for you within our work experience and apprenticeship programmes in Technology and Software Engineering.

Open Day Agenda

  • Technology specific activity
  • CV writing workshop
  • Meet our team and apprentices from across the business on a panel/networking session

They offer the   'Aspiring Partners Programme' (APP)   for students in year 12 to receive support with their career path/university application and continue to support you whilst at university. Health and Social Care Application and Selection Support Sessions Sheffield Hallam University are offering support sessions for health and social care courses, allowing students to get advice and guidance on completing your application and preparing you for selection events. The sessions are available on a number of dates at their collegiate campus, and cover: the admissions process including how and when to apply what to include in your personal statement what to expect during the interview stages dispelling any myths or misconceptions about health and social care courses an optional 30 minute tour will also be available after the session to give you a feel of the campus and studying with Sheffield Hallam.
