Haribo are looking for a Temporary Confectionery Process Worker in Packing, Production and Despatch for over the summer.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 14 week vacancy and starts at the end of May. This is not suitable for any students who still have exams in this period.

Temporary Confectionery Process Worker: Packing, Production & Despatch P1 & P2

Working 40 hours per week on alternating shifts – 06:00 to 14:00 / 13:55 to 21:55.
£8.21 per hour plus 17.5% shift premium for alternating shifts and 16% for Afters
Temporary contracts for 14 weeks: Tuesday 28th May to Friday 30th August 2019.


You will provide temporary cover working in Packing, Production or Despatch to assist in the general running of that department.


General duties will include:

  • Assisting Operators to achieve departmental targets
  • Following Health & Safety guidelines
  • Ensuring good levels of housekeeping are maintained within the departments
  • Transporting product / materials as required
  • Ensuring the highest quality and food safety standards are met
  • Completing any relevant documentation
  • Maintaining the working area to a safe, hygienic standard
  • Inspecting product to quality standards
  • Cleaning to the required standards
  • Removing waste as and when required
  • Any other duties commensurate with this post
Applicants will need to have:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Experience in food manufacturing would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Awareness / knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene standards would also be beneficial
