Apprentice Dental Nurse

Normanton-based Milne Spencer Harris LLP have an excellent opportunity for an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join their team and develop their career. As an Apprentice Dental Nurse your role will primarily be to assist the Dentist.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting and supporting the dentist
  • Ensure the care and welfare of patients
  • Mixing materials, instrument decontamination, maintaining dental operating equipment and looking after patient records
  • Keeping a clean and tidy surgery, handle substances in accordance with Health and Safety policies
  • Develop radiographs, complete laboratory request forms
  • Liaise with reception to ensure smooth patient communications
  • Attend and participate in practice meetings
  • Undergo training as required
  • Attend refreshers and updates for medical emergencies and CPR
  • Act in accordance with the practice rules and code of conduct
  • Adhere to all practice protocols, work at both locations as required and complete other duties as necessary
