University of Leeds Medicine and Health Taster Days

This summer, the University of Leeds is hosting a number of subject taster days for students to help develop an insight into health-related professions and provide targeted advice and guidance in putting together an application. 

These events are free to attend, students can sign up as individuals for these events. A poster is attached for you to print off and place in your classrooms / sixth form noticeboards. The dates of each of these events can be found below:

§  Meet the NHS Professionals – Wednesday 12th June 2019
§  Psychology Taster Day – Wednesday 12th June 2019
§  Nursing Taster Day – Wednesday 19th June 2019
§  Dental Surgery and Dental Hygiene and Therapy Taster Day – Monday 24th June 2019
§  Midwifery Taster Day – Wednesday 26th June 
   Audiology, Cardiac Physiology and Diagnostic Radiology - Thursday 5th July 2019
   Social Work Taster Day – Wednesday 10th July 2019

They offer the   'Aspiring Partners Programme' (APP)   for students in year 12 to receive support with their career path/university application and continue to support you whilst at university.
