University of York Online Summer School

University of York Online Summer School

The University of York are launching an online summer school for any interested students to take part in.

Like many universities, York runs an annual summer school for students to experience living and studying at York.  Students normally have to meet certain eligibility criteria to be accepted onto such a residential.

However, due to the current situation, York have decided to run their summer school online and as a result, it is now open to all Year 12 students.

The programme is likely to offer a variety of activities around:
  • Finding out about the city of York and the university
  • Student life
  • Life after university
  • Application support
  • Live events

Students can choose which activities they wish to participate in and will have access to the York Experience Hub which will be launched from Thursday 14th May.

If you are interested in this and would like to be considered, please follow the link to register.  It will be a valuable experience for students to gain some more detailed experience of a Russell Group University and something which could enhance your personal statement as you can show you have taken part in additional activities.
