Business Administration Apprenticeship (Level 3) Bridge Employment Law Solicitors – York

Bridge Employment Law Solicitors are are looking for a smart, personable apprentice to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to evolve with a rapidly expanding organisation, whilst gaining a qualification and experience in all areas of the business from office support and accounting, to business development and legal support.

Duties:

Although not exhaustive, tasks the apprentice may become involved in are:

·       Answering and directing phone calls & providing initial responses to website and email enquiries

·       Greeting clients and preparing refreshments

·       Setting up files on our case management system & producing letters from templates as required

·        Carrying out identification and anti-money laundering checks & ensuring that the database is updated

  • ·         Ordering stationery
  • ·         Scheduling appointments
  • ·         Data entry on accounting software
  • ·         Producing and distributing minutes of meetings
  • ·         Maintaining physical and digital archives
  • ·         Producing invoices for clients
  • ·         Coordinating and arranging lunches and social events as required
  • ·         Posting to social media
  • ·         Arranging for the secure delivery of documents
  • ·         Photocopying and producing files and other media
  • ·         Research & proof-reading as required for articles/blogs
  • ·         Regular one to one mentoring sessions

Qualifications Required:

GCSE Maths and English at Level 5/ Grade C or above

A Levels in Business/Law/Accounting related subject 

Skills Required:

Excellent written and oral skills

Accurate data entry and attention to detail

Organised with the ability to prioritise work

Able to work independently

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint)

Personal Qualities:

Punctual & Smart

Able to maintain client confidentiality and exercise discretion

Team worker

Trustworthy

Flexible and adaptable

Hours & Remuneration:

35 hours per week (9.30am to 4.30pm Mon – Fri) which includes 20% time for ‘offline’ learning.

Hourly rate £7.50 which equates to £13,624 per annum with opportunities for wage increases.

Location:

Work will be from our office in Escrick. Due to limited public transport candidates must ensure that they are able to make their own way to and from the office.

The office support role at BRIDGE Employment Law is busy, varied and rarely boring. This role will suit an adaptable person who is approachable, quick thinking and can re-prioritise their workload.
